About Me

I'm a Singaporean writer who speaks English, French, Malay, and Indonesian.

My experience in various newsrooms has trained me to thrive in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines. I possess strong editorial judgment and a creative, independent approach to content creation. Additionally, I am proficient in using Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom which complement my storytelling abilities.

I graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours with Distinction), majoring in English Literature with minors in Communications and New Media as well as French Language Studies. My honours thesis was a 12,000-word dissertation on cultural and national identities in V.S. Naipaul’s writings.

Prior to that, I completed a Diploma in Mass Communication with a specialisation in Journalism, graduating with merit in the top 10% of my cohort from Republic Polytechnic. In 2020, I received the SINDA Excellence Award.

Whether it's covering breaking news, crafting in-depth features, or producing engaging multimedia content, I strive to create pieces that resonate with audiences and make a meaningful impact.
